David F. Beans

David F. Beans, age 47, of Akron, O. went to be with the Lord August 29, 2009 at Wadsworth Rittman Hospital.Born May 20, 1962, in Dover, O., he was the son of Barbara and Jim Swearingen of Dover and Austin and Mary Rose Beans of Brightwood.After graduating from Indian Valley North in 1980 and completing additional education at Buckeye Career Center, David entered the workforce as a construction laborer. He was proud of his membership with Local #310.Throughout his lifetime he was passionate about the game of golf, riding his Harley, and cheering on the Cleveland Browns.He will long be remembered as a person willing to help anyone in his path whether it was a stranger or a friend.In addition to his parents, David will be deeply missed by his daughter, Tawney Beans of Tallmadge, O.; his siblings, Peggy (Robert) Clark of Cuyahoga Falls, and Tim Beans of Akron; his nephews, Rob and Brent Clark; his wife, Carole Beans of Tallmadge; and his special friends, Edie McKenzie and Shannon Jones, both of Akron.A memorial service celebrating David’s life will be held in Jerusalem Church, 1417 Stonecreek Rd. S.W. in New Philadelphia on Friday, September 4, 2009 beginning at 11 a.m. with Dr. Terry Downin officiating. Inurnment will immediately follow the service in the Jerusalem Church Cemetery. Those who wish to make a memorial contribution may do so to a fund established for the benefit of David’s daughter, Tawney Beans, at any First Merit Bank Location.
