David Howard Adams, 75, of New Philadelphia, died Saturday, March 16, 2019, in Amberwood Manor.
Born at Sullivan, Missouri on July 25, 1943, David was a son of the late Howard and Augusta (Richard) Adams.
David served as a member of the United States Army and spent his career as an over the road truck driver. He enjoyed watching Western movies, Gunsmoke, Bonanza, Wheel of Fortune and Jeopardy.
He is survived by his six children, Daniel (Melody) Adams, Joseph (Catherine) Adams, June (Patrick) Soucie, James Adams, Shannan Adams, and Richard (Lizzie) Adams; a brother, Richard “Buddy” (June) Adams; 10 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; as well as his beloved dog, Doggie.
In addition to his parents, David was preceded in death by a grandson, Brandon and his siblings, Jack, Billy, James, Velma and Rena.
There will be no public services or visitation. The Linn-Hert-Geib Funeral Home & Crematory at New Philadelphia is handling cremation care.
