Darleen Elizabeth Ault, 84, of Sugarcreek, died Sunday, April 19, 2015 in Mercy Medical Center at Canton following a period of declining health.
A daughter of the late Kadez and Bernice (Beitzel) Fincher, Darleen was born January 5, 1931 at New Philadelphia, Ohio.
On March 4, 1950, Darleen married the love of her life, Russell E. Ault. Along with Russell, Darleen operated a chicken farm and sold eggs for many years.
She will be remembered by her family as a loving wife, mother and grandmother.
She is survived by her husband of 65 years, Russell Ault; her children, Cheryl (Don) Brugger of Strasburg; Linda (Richard) Carter of Sugarcreek and Rodney Ault of Fiat; her grandchildren, Barry, Adam, Sasha and Devon Brugger; her siblings, Beatrice McIntyre of Arizona, Richard (Sharon) Fincher, Dale (Judy) Fincher and Kenny (Cecily) Fincher all of New Philadelphia and Don Fincher of Arizona; a sister-in-law, Sue Fincher of Canton and many nieces and nephews.
Darleen was preceded in death by her parents, a son, Ricky L. Ault and two brothers, James and Glenn Fincher.
In keeping with her wishes there will be no public calling hours and graveside service will be held on Wednesday, April 22, 2015 at 11:30 a.m. at Ragersville Cemetery with her brother, Dale Fincher, officiating.
