Danny Dean Ellis

Danny Dean Ellis, 60, of Uhrichsville, died Wednesday morning, March 26, 2008 from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.A son of the late James Orville and Irene (Sturgel) Ellis, Danny was born January 12, 1948 in Pikeville, Kentucky.Danny was retired from Osterland Construction at Cleveland, Ohio. He was an active member of Alcoholic’s Anonymous and he was an avid hunter and fisherman.He is survived by his loving wife, Susan (Fuller) Ellis; four children, Darlene Pack, Danny Ellis, Robert Ellis all of Cleveland, Ohio and Theresa Ellis of Florida; a step-son, James Hazelton of Upper Sandusky, Ohio; two granddaughters, Brittany and Ashley a step-granddaughter, Annie; a sister, Dolly Whitmer and brother, Doug Ellis both of Arizona and numerous friends.Danny was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, James Ellis.Family and friends may call on Saturday, March 29, 2008 from 9 to 11 a.m. in the Geib Funeral Center, 5600 N. Wooster Ave., Dover, with a celebration of Danny’s life following at 11 a.m. A memorial reception will be held in the Hospitality Room in the Geib Funeral Center following the service.The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to the Danny Ellis Memorial Fund, c/o any Chase Bank.
