Daniel Ray Crawford

Daniel Ray “Crow” Crawford, 47, of Dover, died unexpectedly on Sunday, November 12, 2006 at his home.A son of Clara (Morris) Crawford and the late John Crawford, Daniel was born July 12, 1959 in Barnesville, Ohio.Daniel attended Dover High School and was an avid fan of the Dover Football Team. He was employed at Wilmar Furniture as a carpet installer. He enjoyed watching NASCAR and western movies on television and he also liked to golf and restore vehicles with his latest project being a 1966 Chevy.He is survived by his mother, Clara Crawford of Dover; his children, John Raymond Crawford of New Philadelphia and Crystal Gale (Andrew) Bayang of Lawton, Oklahoma; two sisters, Cindy (Denny) Colvin of Uhrichsville and Lisa (Jim) Rothacher of Dover; one brother, Michael Crawford; Daniel’s girlfriend, Lori Davidson and numerous nieces, nephews and one great niece.Daniel was preceded in death by his father.Visitation will be held for family and friends in the Geib Funeral Center at Dover on Friday, November 17, 2006 from 6 to 8 p.m. There will be no public service held and cremation will take place under the care of Geib’s Tuscarawas Valley Crematory.Memorial contributions may be made in Daniel’s memory to the Daniel Crawford Benefit Fund, c/o any branch of the Dover-Phila Federal Credit Union, to defray final expenses.
