Daniel M. Biechler

Daniel M. Biechler, 49, of New Philadelphia, died Thursday, October 17, 2002, at Union Hospital, in Dover, following a lengthy illness.Dan was born May 18, 1953, in Dover, Ohio. He was the son of Deloris M. Biechler Kinsey, of New Philadelphia, and the late Donald W. Biechler. Dan was a 1971 graduate of Tuscarawas Valley High School. He was employed as a Line Operator for U.S. Ceramic Tile in East Sparta. Dan was an avid golfer, fisherman and sports fan. He also enjoyed gardening, yard work and being with his family and grandchildren.Surviving is his wife of 12 years, Lynn Swinderman Biechler, of the home, whom he married May 18, 1990; a son, Jason Biechler and daughter, Dawn Marie Biechler, both of New Philadelphia; three step-children, Melanie Kimble of Midvale, Matthew Kimble of Kent, Daniel Kimble of New Philadelphia; two brothers, Donald Biechler of Canton and Darrel Biechler of Belton, Texas; sister, Debra Ittikraichareon & special friend Kenneth Bowman of Westerville; four grandchildren, Tyler Kimble, Emily Biechler, Joshua Baggott and Meghan Biechler. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 22, 2002, at 10:30 AM at the Linn-Hert-Geib Funeral Home, New Philadelphia, with Rev. Bruce Weaknecht officiating. Burial will follow at East Avenue Cemetery, New Philadelphia. Calling hours will be held on Monday, October 21, 2002, from 4-8 PM in the funeral home.
