Dale Tipton

Dale Tipton, 67, of New Philadelphia passed away Monday, April 3, 2017 at her home after a period of declining health.

A daughter of the late George Hardy and Faye (Kampus) Hawksworth, Dale was born April 10, 1949 in Massillon, Ohio.

Dale was a graduate from Massillon High School and went on to work with disabled individuals for over 20 years at the Apple Creek Developmental Center.  She also enjoyed attending her grandchildren’s activities and spending time with her family.

Dale is survived by her husband of 25 years, James Tipton; her three children, Brian (Brooke) Gregg of Cincinnati, Richard Martin of Canal Fulton and Khrystie Martin of Louisville; five grandchildren, Sydney and Tyson Gregg, Landon Martin, Hunter Martin and Dylan Cramer as well as her step-father, James Hawksworth.

She is preceded in death by her parents.

In keeping with Dale’s wishes there will be no calling hours or services and cremation care will be handled through the Linn-Hert-Geib Funeral Home & Crematory at New Philadelphia.
