Dale E. Renicker

Dale E. Renicker, 79, of Dover, passed away October 8, 2016 in Hennis Care Center following a period of declining health.

Born August 19, 1937, he was the son of the late Casper and Margaret J. (Grubbs) Renicker. After graduating from Connotton Valley High School in 1956, Dale worked for Greer Steel for more than 40 years prior to his retirement.

Dale served in the National Guard and also enjoyed conversations with his sons and grandchildren about classic cars and racing.

On August 23, 1958, he married the former Judith Ann DeNoi. Together they enjoyed their faith family at Roxford United Methodist Church. Most importantly, they were blessed with four children including Terry (Pam) Renicker of Barnhill, Sandra Renicker of New Philadelphia, Robert Renicker of New Philadelphia, and Donald Renicker of Somerdale. They also cherished their grandchildren Heather Perez of Dover, Kevin (Lachelle) Renicker of Barnhill, and Justin (Amanda) Renicker of Mineral City.

Additionally, he leaves behind his sister, Grace (Carl) Paulun of New Philadelphia and two great-grandchildren, Mareyah and Marques Perez.

Visitation will be held in the Linn-Hert-Geib Funeral Home at New Philadelphia on Tuesday from 5 to 7 p.m. A service celebrating his life will be held in the funeral home chapel on Wednesday beginning at 10:30 am. Inurnment will follow in Holmes Church Cemetery. Friends are invited to the Roxford Church Family Life Center for a meal following the graveside service.
