Cory Allen Colvin

Cory Allen Colvin, 16, of 211 St. Clair Ave. SW New Philadelphia, died Friday, December 5, 2003, in Cleveland Metro General Hospital of complications from muscular dystrophy.Born November 5, 1987 in Dover, he was the son of Paula Syler Colvin of New Philadelphia and Thomas and Linda Colvin of Malvern.Cory was a member of the freshman class at New Philadelphia High School. He enjoyed time spent with his friends, especially playing video games.He is survived by a brother Aaron Colvin of the home; grandparents, James and Pauline Syler of Baltic and Tom and Christine Colvin of Dover.He was preceded in death by an uncle, Mike Syler.Funeral services will be held Tuesday, December 9, at 2:00 PM in the Smith-Geib Funeral Home at Sugarcreek. Rev. Glen Shedlock will officiate and burial will follow in West Lawn Cemetery at Baltic. Friends may call Tuesday from noon until 2:00 PM at the funeral home.
