Cora June Menapace

Cora J. Menapace, age 76, died Thursday, Dec. 4, 2003 at Mill Run Care Center in Hilliard following a battle with lupus and short battle with cancer.Born October 11, 1927 in New Philadelphia, she was a daughter of the late Emmett and Margaret True.Cora was a retired cafeteria worker for Dover High School and Tuscazor Boy Scout camp. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Dover and the Ruth Circle. She was very loyal to her family and friends and loved to share her hobbies of cooking and sewing.Survivors include two daughters and sons-in-law, Marlene F. and Andrew J. Burkholder of Grove City and Bernice M. and Paul E. Lewis of Dublin; two sons and daughter-in-law, Tim L. and Deb Menapace of Crossett, AR, and Gregg E. Menapace of Dover; eight grandchildren and three sisters, Alice May Bair of Tipp City, Florence Marie Butler of Jacksonville, FL and Nora Belle Bos of Green Valley AZ. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Albert E. Menapace on December 10, 1994. Funeral services will be held Monday, Dec. 8, 2003 at 10:30 a.m. in the chapel of the Linn-Hert-Geib Funeral Home & Crematory at New Philadelphia with Rev. Dr. David M. Oliver officiating. Burial will be in Ridgecrest Memory Gardens at Dover. Family and friends are invited to gather in the Fellowship Hall of First United Methodist Church in Dover following the graveside committal service. Friends are invited to call Sunday, Dec. 7, 2003, anytime after 2 p.m. with the family present from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9, in the funeral home.
