Colleen Elizabeth Byington

Colleen Elizabeth (Bower) Byington, 26, of Sherrodsville, died Friday, June 9, 2006 at her home.Born June 15, 1979 in Dover, she is the daughter of Treva C. (Blaine) Jackson of Sherrodsville and Brian Bower.Colleen attended New Philadelphia High School and nearly a year ago, married her husband who survives, Brian A. Byington.She was the foundation of her family and loved spending time with all of them.In addition to her husband and parents, she is survived by her sister, Crystal S. Bower of New Philadelphia; her grandmother, Elizabeth (James) Boord of New Philadelphia; her step-son, Vincent Byington of Dover; her paternal great-grandmother, Mary Bower of New Philadelphia; her step-grandmother, Daisy (Gordon) Reigle of New Philadelphia; one brother-in-law, Mike Byington of New Philadelphia; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.Colleen was preceded in death by her uncle, Brett Schwartz; her great-grandfather, Earl Bower; her grandfathers, Don Bower and John Schwartz; her grandmother, Cheryl Luthy; her cousin, Tory Jackson; and her step-grandfather, William J. Jackson.Visitation will be held in the Linn-Hert-Geib Funeral Home at New Philadelphia on Wednesday, June 14, 2006 from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. A service will immediately follow visitation beginning at 11:00 a.m. with her uncle, Michael Jackson officiating.
