Christine Goodall

Christine Ann Goodall, 65, of Lancaster, Ohio, died Monday, April 30, 2018 in Community Hospice Truman House at New Philadelphia follow a period of declining health.

A daughter of the late Gene and Eileen (Zanetti) Goodall, Chris was born March 20, 1953 at Dover, Ohio.

Chris graduated from New Philadelphia High School in 1971. She continued her education at Kent State University and ultimately received her Master’s Degree from Bowling Green State University. She was employed by the State of Ohio as a dietitian and retired after 27 years of service. Chris had a passion for flowers and gardening.

She is survived by her brothers, Tom (Nancy) Goodall of New Philadelphia and Jim Goodall of Dover; her nieces and nephews, Melissa Jeffery of South Carolina, Matthew (Laura) Goodall and Ryan (Kristin) Goodall both of New Philadelphia, Janelle (Matthew) Russell of Dover and Jessica (Shawn) Harshey of Uhrichsville; several great-nieces and great-nephews; and many dear friends from the Lancaster area who were like family to her.

In keeping with Chris’ wishes there will be no calling hours or services and cremation will take place through the care of the Linn-Hert-Geib Funeral Home & Crematory at New Philadelphia. Inurnment will take place in Calvary Cemetery at New Philadelphia.
