Christine M. Arnold

Christine M. Arnold, age 62, of Uhrichsville, died early May 31, 2023, in her residence.

Born in Dover, Ohio on November 20, 1960, Chris as she was known to family and friends was a daughter of the late Joseph S. and Lois M. Eberly Day.

Upon her graduation from Indian Valley North High School, Chirs worked briefly for RICH Industries and Ross’ Market Basket before following her passion for caring for others, particularly children. Chris loved babysitting and operating her home daycare as well as working for a local preschool.

She enjoyed listening to music, especially Classic Rock and Country, swimming, watching the birds, studying nature, working on adult coloring books, making crafts, and decorating her home for each holiday. She was also a fan of Reality TV shows, but will most be remembered for her love for her family and giving spirit. She enjoyed helping others in need even when she didn’t have much to give.

Chris will be missed by her daughter, Dana (fiancé, Michael Schultz) Reese of Washington; her son, Dakota Arnold of Uhrichsville; her grandchildren, whom she adored, Lydia Reese and Kane Schultz; a sister, Vickie Hykes of New Philadelphia and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Chris was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry Arnold, and three siblings, Greg Day, Doug Day, and Patricia Day.

The family will hold a gathering at a later date to celebrate Chris’ life. Cremation care has been entrusted to the Linn-Hert-Geib Funeral Home & Crematory at New Philadelphia.
