Cheryl Lorene Yurich

Cheryl Lorene Yurich, age 57, of New Philadelphia, died August 31, 2006, at Hennis Care Center in Dover after an eleven year courageous battle with Multiple Sclerosis. Cheryl was born in Dennison, Ohio, on October 3, 1948 to Eugene and Beth Huebner. In 1966, Cheryl graduated from Gnadenhutten High School. She worked as a sales manager at Lauren Manufacturing.Cheryl enjoyed being outdoors, camping, hiking, reading, cross stitching, and sports. Most of all, she enjoyed the spirit of the holidays. She was preceded in death by her mother, Beth Huebner, and son Eric Lanzer.Cheryl is survived by her husband of 23 years, Thomas; son, Scott Yurich of New Philadelphia; step-son, Jack (Valarie) Yurich of Cape Coral, Florida; step-daughter, Dana Leggett of New Philadelphia; grandchildren, Kyle and Stephanie Leggett of Canton, Mackenzie, Brock, and Luke Yurich of Cape Coral, Florida, Stone, Tessa and Seth Yurich of New Ulm, Minnesota; father, Eugene Huebner of Gnadenhutten; brothers, Terry (Dixie) Huebner of Precott Valley, Airzona, Roger (Jayne) Huebner of Gnadenhutten; sister, Cindy (Chris) Youmans of Goose Creek, South Carolina.A memorial service will be held on Sunday, September 3, 2006, at 3:00 p.m. at the Linn-Hert-Geib Funeral Home chapel. Friends may call at the funeral home from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. on Sunday.A reception will be held in the Geib Family Center following the memorial service.
