Cheryl A. Fisher

Cheryl A. Fisher, 74, of New Philadelphia passed away in Community Hospice Truman House on July 9, 2021, following a period of declining health.

Born in Dover on December 9, 1946, she was the daughter of the late Kenneth E. and Edna June (Edwards) Weber. After graduating from New Philadelphia High School in 1965, Cheryl married her best friend, Dean A. Fisher, on June 10, 1966.

Together, they were members of Emmanuel Lutheran Church in New Philadelphia. They loved to travel to Niagara Falls, watch NASCAR, and spend time with their family.

Cheryl will be deeply missed by her husband, Dean; sons, Chad (Anna) Fisher of New Philadelphia and Dustin (Dr. Natalie) Fisher of Gnadenhutten; grandchildren, Michael (Samantha) Fisher and Cody (Makayla) Fisher; and great-grandchildren, Saige, Sebastian, Charles, and Leeam; her sister, Sally Jo Phillips; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A private family service will be held in the Linn-Hert-Geib Funeral Home chapel at New Philadelphia on Thursday, July 15, 2021 beginning at 1:30 p.m. Burial will follow in Schoenbrunn Meadow Burial Park.
