Charlotte Ann Morris, 71, of Dover, went home to be with the Lord in the Community Hospice House on Wednesday, October 9, 2013.
Born in Dover on January 9, 1942, she was the daughter of the late Garnet G. and Imo R. (Bozman) Morris.
After completing her formal education at New Philadelphia, Charlotte worked for a number of years at the former Aberth’s Bakery. Most recently, her bright smile and warm greeting could be seen and felt at the Tuscarawas County Senior Center where she worked in the kitchen.
She was involved in 4-H Club and also loved playing Bingo, completing word searches, and working jigsaw puzzles. She was often seen riding throughout the town on her 3-wheeled bike or walking.
She will be remembered as the lady with the infectious giggle/laugh, smiling face and willingness to always help out other people.
Charlotte had a deep love for her God. Her faith was nurtured at Dover Alliance Church, where she participated in a number of church activities and groups.
She is survived by her brothers, Dan and Vaughn Morris.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother Vance on May 27, 2013.
Visitation will be held in the Linn-Hert-Geib Funeral Home & Crematory on Monday, October 14 from 5 to 7 p.m. A service celebrating Charlotte’s life will be held in the funeral home chapel Tuesday beginning at 1:30 p.m. Burial will follow at Evergreen Burial Park at New Philadelphia.
Memorial contributions in Charlotte’s memory may be directed to Dover Alliance Church, 228 East Third St., Dover, Ohio 44622.
