Charles W. Schinke

Charles W. Schinke, 67, of Midvale, died Monday, February 06, 2006 in Schoenbrunn Healthcare at New Philadelphia.A son of the late Travis and Nita (Staulp) Schinke, Charles was born November 26, 1937 in Rochester, Minnesota.He was a well known self employed carpenter of the area who lived life to the fullest. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather who will be remembered by his family as having a heart of gold.He is survived by his loving wife of 40 years, Shelby (Studer) Schinke; children, Fred Solomon of New Philadelphia, Larry Short of Uhrichsville, Richelle (Jim) Libertore of New Philadelphia, Mary McClish of New Philadelphia, Charles Gambell of Montana, Roger (Amy) Beitzel of Wainwright, Sheryl Bacalao of Mexico, Krissy Johnson of Canada and Sena Richmond of Canada; 18 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren and one sister, Judy Schinke of Illinois.Charles was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Marna Linard and one brother, Travis Schinke.In keeping with Charles’ wishes, there will be no public visitation or services observed and cremation will take place in the Linn-Hert-Geib Funeral Home & Crematory at New Philadelphia.
