Charles V. Sterner

Charles V. Sterner, 88, of Sherrodsville, died Sunday, February 4, 2007 following an extended illness.A son of the late Cary and Maude (Shanabruch) Sterner, Charles was born November 7, 1918 in Canton, OhioCharles was a veteran of the United States Navy having served during World War II. Along with his wife Ramona, he was the owner and operator of various apartment complexes in Hollywood, Florida.He is survived by his loving wife, Ramona (Rinehart) Sterner, whom he married September 15, 1960; two step-daughters, Jacqui Judge of Alliance and Darlene (Michael) Grant of Light House Point, Florida; three grandchildren, Daniel, Timothy and Matthew Grant; one sister, Dorothy Nist of Louisville, Ohio and his in home caregiver, Marilyn Smalley.Charles was preceded in death by his parents; one sister, Mary Smith and one brother, Robert SternerIn keeping with Charles’ wishes, there will be no public visitation or service and cremation will take place under the care of Geib’s Tuscarawas Valley Crematory
