Charles Mazzoleni

Charles B. Mazzoleni, 80, of Dover, died Sunday, December 24, 2017 in Union Hospital at Dover following a sudden illness.

A son of the late Charles J. and Wilma (Shuman) Mazzoleni, Charles was born March 10, 1937 at Wainwright, Ohio.

Charles was a veteran of the United States Navy and was stationed in Japan and Australia. In 1994, he retired from Norfolk-Southern Railroad where we worked as a general foreman. Charles was an avid sports fan and enjoyed fishing.

He is survived by his wife, Lois (McConnell) Mazzoleni whom he married on December 31, 1967; his sons, Roger Mazzoleni of Dover, Charles C. Mazzoleni of St. Augustine, Florida and Allen (Lynda) Young of Louisville; his grandchildren, Ross (Rachel) Young of Canton, Shannan Young of Louisville and Anthony and Timothy Mazzoleni of Dover; two great grandchildren, Brooklyn and Logan Young; a brother, Clyde Mazzoleni of Wainwright and several nephews.

In keeping with Charles’ wishes there will be no calling hours or services and cremation will take place through the care of the Geib Funeral Center at Dover.
