Charles Dave Harding II

Charles David “Dave” Harding II, age 62 of Roswell, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend passed away April 22, 2009 in Union Hospital at Dover following a lengthy illness.Born February 15, 1947 in Cambridge, he was the son of the late Charles D. and Ruby Eleanor (Jeffery) Harding Sr. Following his formal education, Dave joined the United States Air Force and honorably served our country during Vietnam. He was a member of the Tusky V.F.W Post #7943 and was also an avid NASCAR fan.Dave married his loving wife, Annabella “Bella” Mercer Harding on December 31, 1993. He is also survived by four children, David (Jenell) Harding III of Arkansas, Kim Harding of West Lafayette, Brenda (Mark) Mowrer of New Philadelphia, and Teri (Christopher) Smolak of Dennison; one brother, James Harding of Dennison; three sisters, Rita Tuchek of Hopedale, Janice (Wayne) Matsel of Dennison and Carlotta (Ron) Daughtery of Piedmont; six grandchildren, Jessica (Baxter) Johnson, Michelle and Morgan Harding, Devin Mowrer, Skyler and Sierra Smolak; and numerous nieces and nephews complete the family.In keeping with Dave’s wishes, there will be no public calling hours or service.Dave’s family requests memorial contributions be directed in his memory to either Hospice of Tuscarawas County, 201 W. 3rd St., Dover, OH 44622 or the Tusky V.F.W., PO Box 321, Tuscarawas, OH 44682.
