Charlene R. King, 64, of New Philadelphia, died Sunday, November 02, 2008 in Union Hospital at Dover.A daughter of the late Harry and Wilma (Karling) King, Charlene was born February 26, 1944 at Stone Creek, Ohio.Charlene was dearly loved by her family as well as all of her friends at the Kaderly Group Home. Her family would like to express their gratitude to all of Charlene’s friends and care givers at the Kaderly Group Home for their exemplary care.She is survived by two sisters, Loretta Proffitt and Marian (Harold) Stertzbach both of Louisville, Ohio; three brothers, Wayne (Carol) King of Stone Creek, Merle (Shirley) King of New Philadelphia and David (Martha) King of Monticello, Georgia and many nieces and nephews and great nieces and great nephews.Friends may call on Wednesday, November 5, 2008 from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. in the Linn-Hert-Geib Funeral Home & Crematory at New Philadelphia. A funeral service celebrating Charlene’s life will follow at 10:30 a.m. in the Linn-Hert-Geib Chapel with Pastor Jim Borton officiating.
