Cathy Beaber

Cathy L. Beaber, 59, of Midvale, passed away Wednesday, August 20, 2014 in Hennis Care Center at Dover following a two-month battle with brain cancer.

Born in Mercy Hospital on April 30, 1955, she was the daughter of Doloris J. (Rush) Thompson and the late Homer D. Eick. She was a graduate of Conotton Valley High School.

Cathy’s family includes her mother, Doloris; her son, David (Kelly) Beaber; her grandchildren, Kyle D. and Katelyn M. Beaber; her sister, Deborah Beaber; her brothers, David and Allan Eick; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her sister, Gloria Shuman.

Cremation will be cared for though Geib’s Tuscarawas Valley Crematory. Cathy’s family will receive friends in St. John Worship and Praise Community Church, 1030 Cook Street, Uhrichsville, Ohio 44683, on Sunday from 5 to 8 p.m.
