Catherine M. Manghese

Catherine M. Manghese, 90, of Dover, died Sunday, April 14, 2013 at New Dawn Retirement Community at Dover following a period of declining health.

A daughter of the late Patrick and Anna (Strickling) Meechan, Catherine was born August 22, 1922 at Wadsworth, Ohio

She is survived by her children, Diana (David) Felgenhauer, Karen Nagle and Ron (Thelma) Manghese all of New Philadelphia and Theresa (David) Wolfarth of Chesapeake, Ohio; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; a sister, Virginia Neighley of Tuscarawas; a brother, John “Ted” Meechan of Dover and a sister-in-law, Velma Meechan of Florida.

Catherine was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Anthony Manghese who passed away in 1985 and infant son, Ronald Eugene and a brother, Hugh Meechan.

In keeping with Catherine’s wishes, there will be no calling hours or services and cremation will take place through the care of Geib’s Tuscarawas Valley Crematory at Dover. Mass will be said in her memory at a later date.
