Carrieanne Clinton, 39 of Mesquite, Texas (formerly of Bolivar) went skipping, running and dancing into the arms of her Lord on Wednesday, August 12. Born November 24, 1975, Carrieanne died peacefully and unexpectedly in her sleep at her parent’s home.
The loving daughter of William J. and Carla F. (Rippel) Clinton, Carrieanne found love and joy in everyone she met and embraced life with a beautiful smile and a positive prayer for all, despite her lifetime of serious health issues and consequential adversities. No matter how ill she would be, Carrieanne would always ask a visitor, who was there to see her, how THEY were doing. She would discuss her concern for the other person, and would then usually end up praying for them. She truly became an inspiration and model of personal strength and faith for everyone whom had the pleasure of knowing her.
Carrieanne was born and raised in Tuscarawas County until she and her parents moved to the Dallas area in 1991. She remained in constant contact with her loving family and friends through phone, letter writing and email contact. Carrieanne is now rejoicing in Heaven with her new eternal body, and is most likely dancing with her grandparents and other loved ones who went before her.
In addition to her parents, Carrieanne will be sadly missed by her grandma, Deloris Clinton of Dover, her uncles and aunts; the Brad and Mary Jane Rippel Family; the Bob and Judy Clinton Family, Richard Clinton, the Steve and Debbie Clinton Family, the Martin and Shelly Clinton Family; the Darcie and Dan Sheppard Family; and Randall and Debbie Ewing Family, her adopted brother, Nathan Shane and 4 God children. Carrieanne’s very special cousins were a huge part of her life, growing up surrounded by their love and friendship. She also leaves behind many Church friends and fellow prayer warriors of hers in the Dallas metro-plex area.
She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Bob and June Rippel of New Philadelphia, and her paternal Grandfather, William Clinton of Dover; one aunt, Dawn Ewing and one uncle, Ronald Ewing.
The family will greet guests on Wednesday, August 19, 2015 from 5:00 – 8:00 PM in the Linn-Hert-Geib Funeral Home & Crematory at New Philadelphia. Pastor Steve Gerig will lead a service celebrating Carrieanne’s life in the funeral home’s chapel on Thursday at 1:30 PM. Burial will follow in the Evergreen Burial Park at New Philadelphia.
Memorial contributions may be made to Mesquite Bible Church, 2124 Motley Drive, Mesquite, Texas 75150.
