Born in Baltimore, Maryland on December 12, 1936, Carolyn was a daughter of the late Robert R. and Margaret M. Lambert Beauchamp.
As a young girl, Carolyn was a Girl Scout earning numerous badges and various ranks, and often shared about her time in the program with her family and friends.
On October 2, 1954, Carolyn married the love of her life, Phillip James Wilson. For the first 20 years of their marriage, Carolyn was a military wife having had the opportunity to travel all around the world and raise their family as Phillip was stationed on various bases.
Carolyn devoted her life to the Lord and her family. She enjoyed caring for children and grandchildren and sharing stories of her childhood. She often reminisced about swimming on the shores of Maryland and the ever-present ability to eat fresh crab legs and seafood. She was proud of the fact that she was able to be a part of five generations of family together at various times. She had a deep love for music and especially loved listening to gospel hymns, Celine Dion, and Dolly Parton. In her younger years, Carolyn was known to be quite an artist and seamstress having the ability to freehand draw, paint, and even dabbled in ceramic work.
Her other hobbies included tracking the history of the Royal Family and keeping up to date on the latest news and tales coming from across the pond. Carolyn was also a lover of classic movies, westerns, and the show Gunsmoke.
She leaves behind her beloved family which includes her daughters Bonnie (Bobby Armstrong) Celuch, Carol (Tim) Hart, Peggy (Steve) Chilensky, Cindy (Steve) Baker, Cathy (Chris) Clantz, and Jennifer Wilson; numerous grandchildren, great and great-great-grandchildren as well as many nieces and nephews.
