Carolyn E. Wertman

Carolyn E. “Nan” Wertman, 67, of Stone Creek, died Saturday, December 24, 2005 in Oak Point Nursing Home at Baltic, Ohio.A daughter of the late Ronald Bealer and Naomi Wertman, Carolyn was born June 10, 1938 in Morgan County, Pennsylvania.She was retired as a nurse’s aid from Doylstown Nursing Home. Carolyn enjoyed playing games on the computer as well as listening to country music. But most of all, she enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.She is survived by her daughter, Betty Christine Rice-Angle and her fiancé Wayne P. Glazer of Baltic; grandchildren, Diana M. Rice and her fiancé Wayne A. Raber of Fresno and Samantha Lee Stoufer of Norton, Ohio; two brothers, Donald and Ronald; three sisters, Trudy, Shirley and Muriel; and many nieces and nephews.Carolyn was preceded in death her parents, her husband, Fred J. Rice, Jr., one great-grandson, Logan A. Raber and one nephew Keith Paul Hawkins, III.Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 28, 2005 from 5 to 7 p.m. in the Linn-Hert-Geib Funeral Home & Crematory at New Philadelphia.
