Carol Sue Scalambrino

Carol Sue Scalambrino, 65, of New Philadelphia, died Saturday, July 26, 2008 in her home surrounded by her family.A daughter of the late Frank Wise and Dorothy (Tipton) Wise-Faniola, Carol was born September 27, 1942 at Wyandotte, Michigan.A resident of Tuscarawas County for most of her life, Carol attended Dennison Schools. She was employed by Dr. Charles Moore where she served as a longtime aide in his chiropractic office.Carol was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church at New Philadelphia as well as an active member of the Tuscarawas County YMCA.She is survived by her husband, Nick Scalambrino, whom she married on July 29, 1983; a daughter, Julie Lain and her fiancé, Jim Farrell of Odessa, Texas; a son, John Kleski of Odessa, Texas; two grandsons, Justin Kleski of Dover and Jayden Kleski of Odessa, Texas; two step daughters, Nikki (Jim) Gold of New Philadelphia and Lisa Scalambrino of Dover; two step grandchildren, Cory and Trisha Matlick of Dover; two sisters, Joan Warren and Pat (Bob) Metarko both of New Philadelphia; a brother, Jack (Bev) Wise of Dennison; her step father, Howard Faniola of New Philadelphia and numerous nieces and nephews.Family and friends may call on Monday, July 28, 2008 from 5 to 8 p.m in the Linn-Hert-Geib Funeral Home & Crematory at New Philadelphia. A funeral service celebrating Carol’s life will be held on Tuesday, July 29, 2008 at 10 a.m. in the Linn-Hert-Geib Chapel with Monsignor George Schlegel officiating. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery at New Philadelphia.
