Carol J. Bigler

Carol J. Bigler, 78, of New Philadelphia, died Wednesday, November 23, 2016, in Park Village Health Care Center at Dover following a lengthy battle with Multiple Sclerosis.

A daughter of the late Sara and Charles Lynch, Carol was born at Lewistown, PA on August 8, 1938.

She was a graduate of Lewistown High School. For a number of years, she was employed by the City of New Philadelphia and served as a bank teller.

Carol enjoyed sending cards to family and friends, baking, traveling and playing BINGO.

She is survived by her husband, Lewis E. Bigler, whom she married on November 18, 1984 as well as numerous other family members.

In keeping with her wishes, cremation care will take place with a memorial service to be scheduled for a later date. The Linn-Hert-Geib Funeral Home & Crematory at New Philadelphia is handling arrangements.
