Carol Ann Zigman

Carol Ann Zigman, 80, formerly of Willard and Marietta, passed away peacefully at Park Village Health Care Center in Dover on June 26, 2020.

Born in Youngstown on October 6, 1939, she was the daughter of the late Frank G. and Mary (Ondra) Powell.

Carol attended Marietta College where she met her future husband, Anthony R. Zigman. On October 3, 2019, they celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary.

Carol was a loving wife and mother, who enjoyed raising her family, reading, and traveling. She also volunteered with Mercy Health Willard Hospital and the Willard Library.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her children, Lorrie (Dr. Edwin) Hawk of New Philadelphia; Richard (Corinne) Zigman of Miamisburg and Anthony “Andy” Zigman of Powell; 4 grandchildren, Dr. Carrie (John) Carroll of New Philadelphia, Timothy Hawk of New Albany, Elizabeth Hawk of Painesville, and Kelly Zigman of Dayton; 2 step-grandchildren, Erica Jones of West Carrollton and Jared (Aleesha) Jones of Dayton; 6 step-great-grandchildren; and brothers, Edward (Salianne) Powell of Delaware, OH, Donald (Elaine) Powell of Boardman, and William (Donna) Powell of New Port Richey, FL; and numerous nieces and nephews.
