Carl E. Eichel

Carl E. Eichel, Sr. age 77, of Goshen Township, New Philadelphia, died Friday, September 30, 2011.A son of the late Omer and Florence Reichman Eichel, Carl was born at Tuscarawas on March 18, 1934.He was the owner and operator of Carl Eichel and Sons Concrete and Block Work.Survivors include his children, Carl E. (Mary) Eichel, Jr., Gerald Eichel, Carla (Jerry) Watson, Tammy (James) Stafford, Caren (Jeremy) Smith, Debbie (John II,) Baker, Vickie Eichel, Traci (Robb) Buzzeo and Robin (Alg) Torrence; his former wife, Victoria Eichel; two sisters, Betty Nealy, and Bernice Stafford; and two brothers, Delbert Eichel and Richard Eichel.Twenty four grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews complete the family.In addition to his parents, Carl was preceded in death by a son, Rodney Eichel and numerous brothers and sisters.In keeping with Carl’s wishes, cremation will take place. A memorial service will be led by Pastor Jason Snyder on Sunday, October 9, 2011 at 4:00 P.M. in the Schoenbrunn Moravian Church at New Philadelphia.
