Brian Keith Landis

Brian Keith Landis, 39, of Dundee, died Friday morning, October 11, 2002, from injuries sustained from a fall at work.Born May 2, 1963 in Dover, he was a son of Nelson and Dorothy Landis. Brian was a graduate of Garaway High School and went on to obtain his culinary arts degree from the Pittsburgh Colonary Institute. Brian was employed as an ironworker for Cleveland Local 17. He also obtained his license in stationary boiler operation and was a former volunteer firefighter for Dundee. Hunting and fishing were two pastimes Brian enjoyed. He was a former member of the Dundee Bow Hunters Club and served the country in the Marine Corp. Most importantly, he was a dedicated and loving husband and father.In addition to his parents, Brian is survived by his wife, Laurie Philomena Incarnato Landis, whom he married on August 8, 1998; a daughter, Briana Lee of Canton and a son and daughter, Anthony Myles and Angelina Marcel Landis of the home; two brothers, Jeff Landis of Dundee and Tim (Lisa) Landis of Georgia; three brothers-in-law, Nick (Sherry) Incarnato, Mark (Gena) Incarnato and Matt (Linda) Incarnato all of New Philadelphia; one sister-in-law, David (Kris) Moreland of New Philadelphia; mother-in-law, Betty Incarnato of New Philadelphia; a grandmother, Mary Buechele and many nieces and nephews.He was preceded in death by his father-in-law, Nick Incarnato; two aunts, Brenda Ripley and Loah Scheufler; two uncles, Robert Cline, Sr. and Larry Landis; paternal grandparents, Omer and Lucille Landis and his maternal grandfather, Howard Cline, Sr.A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 16, 2002, beginning at 10:30 AM in the Linn-Hert-Geib Funeral Home with Father William Arnold and Pastor Dode Overton co-officiating. Burial will follow at the Dundee Cemetery. The Dundee Methodist Church will host a meal following the committal. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday, October 15, 2002, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM.
