Brenda Rank

Brenda K. Rank, 67, of Gnadenhutten, died Sunday, December 2, 2018 in Community Hospice at New Philadelphia following a brief illness.

Born in Barnesville on December 3, 1950, she was the daughter of the late Wayne J. and Betty Anderson Stephen and a 1962 graduate of Indian Valley High School in Gnadenhutten. On January 29, 1972, she married her husband, Wesley E. “Wes” Rank, of the residence and spent her time being a homemaker and working on the family farm.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her daughters, Jennifer Grove and Megan (Craig) Long both of Gnadenhutten; four grandchildren, Chelsea and Ciara Grove and Grant and Garrett Long of Gnadenhutten; two sisters, Barb Stephen of Newcomerstown and Bev (Steve) McComb of Port Washington; six brothers, Jerry (Sandra) Stephen of Newcomerstown, Bruce (Debbie) Stephen of Gnadenhutten, Mike (Phyllis) Stephen of Port Washington, Randy (Jeanne) Stephen of Port Washington, Paul “Whitey” Stephen and his companion, Carolyn Horsfall of Gnadenhutten and Roger (Marian) Stephen of Coshocton; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, December 6, 2018 at 10:30 AM in the Linn-Hert-Geib Funeral Home at New Philadelphia with Pastor Brian Flood officiating. Burial will be in Fry’s Valley Cemetery at Gnadenhutten. Visitation will be held Wednesday, December 5, 2018 from 4 to 7 PM in the funeral home.
