Bradley A. Schroeder, age 53 of Bolivar, died peacefully Wednesday, October 23, 2013 following a period of declining health.
A son of Ramona Basiletti Weber of New Philadelphia and the late John Schroeder, Brad was born at Dover, Ohio on April 26, 1960.
Brad enjoyed attending First Baptist Church at New Philadelphia and being active with the Starlight Enterprises as well as Horizons’ Avenues of Adventure Program.
For a number of years, Brad lived at the Kaderly Group Home prior to moving to the Bolivar Homes operated by Horizons, Inc. He loved sensory activity, appreciated warm weather, swimming at the Tuscarawas County YMCA and drinking Mountain Dew.
He will be missed by his family that include his mother; three brothers, John (Cindy) Schroeder, Jr. of Dover, Jeff (Gina) Schroeder of Largo, Florida, and Tom Schroeder of New Philadelphia; six nieces and nephews, Scott Schroeder, Kimberly Schroeder, Daniel Schroeder, Amanda Schroeder, Reid Schroeder and Jessica (Jerry) Jenkins.
Completing his extended family are his friends, roommates and numerous caregivers he has had throughout the years.
Private services for family, caregivers, current and former, and his longtime friends will be led by Mr. Dave Millard in the Dover Geib Center. Private inurnment alongside his father will take place in the Evergreen Burial Park at a later date.
