Robert L. “Bobby” McClanahan, 19, of Dover, died unexpectedly Tuesday, July 5, 2005 at the Ohio State Medical Center in Columbus, Ohio.A son of Richard L. and Laura K. Huffman McClanahan, Bobby was born April 22, 1986 in Massillon, O.He was a 2005 graduate of Robert C. Starkey High School, a member of the Church of Christ, Dover, O., a member of Boy Scouts of America, enjoyed fishing, hunting, baseball, bowling, chess, friends, antique car shows, playing Yugioh, and his computer.Bobby also designed video games and two of his games are awaiting patents.In addition to his parents, he is survived by a brother, Hunter McClanahan, of Dover; grandparents, James and Jan Bunting of Wooster and Elaine McClanahan of Dover; great grandparents, Grace Wachtel, of Wooster and Russell Orr, of Stone Creek; several aunts, uncles and cousins.Bobby was preceded in death by a grandfather, Charles McClanahan; great grandfather, John R. Wachtel and great grandmother, Ethel Orr.Visitation will be Sunday July 10, 2005, from 2 to 4 p.m. in the Geib Funeral Center, 5600 N. Wooster Avenue in Dover. Memorial services will be held Sunday at 4 p.m. following visitation in the Geib Funeral Center with Rev. Kevin Phipps of the Central Christian Church of Wooster officiating.A reception will be held at the Geib Funeral Center, 5600 N.
