Blema Miller Clotfelter, 86, of Midvale, died Sunday, January 24, 2010 in Schoenbrunn Healthcare at New Philadelphia following a period of declining health.A daughter of the late Clarence and Bessie (Robertson) Virtue, Blema was born January 4, 1924 at Midvale, Ohio.She graduated from Midvale High School in 1943 and was a cheerleader for three of those years. Blema had a love for flowers, animals and crocheting.Surviving are a son, Timothy “Tim” Miller of Las Vegas, Nevada; three grandchildren, Chris (Joanie) Miller of Dayton, Anissa (Shawn) Cargnel of Uhrichsville and Maranda (Bill) Locke of Canton; four great grandchildren, Storrie and Reagan Locke and Nikolas and Sabree Mutersbaugh and a niece, Barbara Mast of New Philadelphia.Blema was preceded in death by her parents; her former husband, Lloyd “Jim” Miller and a brother and sister-in-law, Archie and Jean Virtue.The family will receive guests on Tuesday, January 26, 2010 from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. in the Linn-Hert-Geib Funeral Home & Crematory at New Philadelphia. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, January 27, 2010 at 1:30 p.m. in East Avenue Cemetery at New Philadelphia. Following the committal service, a memorial reception will be held in the Geib Family Center at New Philadelphia.
