Blanche L. Dolzine, born December 11, 1925, in Uhrichsville, OH, decided to leave her earthly form on May 18, 2007, at 8:50 pm, after battling Alzheimer Disease for nearly 7 years. Blanche’s daughter, Cynthia “Cindy” Dolzine of West Palm Beach, FL, was with her cherished mother at the time of her departure.She left to join her husband of 48 years, Albert T. Dolzine, and will be laid to rest beside him in Evergreen Burial Park at New Philadelphia on Friday, May 25, 2007, after a Mass of Christian Burial officiated by Monsignor George Schlegel at Sacred Heart Church at 11 am. Those who wish to join in the funeral procession to the church can meet at the Linn-Hert Geib Funeral Home, 116 Second Street NE, New Philadelphia, at 10:00 am. Viewing will be held at the Linn-Hert Geib Funeral Home on Thursday, May 24, 2007, from 6pm-8pm with a Christian Wake service being held at 5:30 p.m.She was the daughter of Catherine Welsh Wolfe and Charles Wolfe, and was the youngest of 11 children. Blanche was a graduate of Uhrichsville High School in 1943, and worked at Scio Pottery in Scio, OH, until 1953. She is survived by her daughter, Cindy, son-in-law, Robert R. Swift, sister-in-laws, Fuela (Flo) Dolzine of New Philadelphia, OH, and Mildred (Millie) Wolfe of Port Washington, OH, and many nieces and nephews.Blanche was a member of Sacred Heart Church, where she married her beloved husband, Albert, on October 30, 1952. She enjoyed writing and had poems published when she was in her early 20’s and worked on drafts of children’s stories during her life. Blanche served as poll worker for the Tuscarawas County Board of Elections having worked the polls at Tuscarawas Central Catholic High School for many years. She enjoyed crossword puzzles and she bowled in leagues at Boulevard Lanes. She resided at 453 Third Street NE, New Philadelphia, OH, for 48 years and was a homemaker, wife, mother, friend, neighbor and an all-around good person. She moved to West Palm Beach, FL, in December 2000 after the death of her husband.
