Blaine Walker

Blaine Edward Walker, 61, of Newcomerstown, died Tuesday, March 10, 2015 in Union Hospital at Dover following a period of declining health.

A son of the late Robert Max and Grace Virginia (Kelley) Walker, Blaine was born January 17, 1954 at Dennison, Ohio.

Blaine graduated from Claymont High School in 1971. He was an avid pool player and competed in the Tuscarawas County Pool League. He also enjoyed fishing.

He is survived by his son, Blaine Walker II of Uhrichsville; three sisters, Carlene (Tom) Swinderman of Dover, Peggy Worley of Raleigh, North Carolina and Ruth Potts of Uhrichsville; his wife, Faye (Horton) Walker of Raleigh, North Carolina; a step daughter, Shannon Cochran and a step grandson, Gabriel Thomas of Eden, North Carolina and many nieces and nephews.

Blaine was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters, Phyllis Long and Linda Rexroad and a brother, Robert Max Walker II.

In keeping with Blaine’s wishes there will be no calling hours or services and cremation will take place through the care of the Linn-Hert-Geib Funeral Home & Crematory at New Philadelphia.
