Beverly J. Hostetler

Beverly Joan Hostetler, age 64, of New Philadelphia passed away suddenly Saturday afternoon, July 5, 2008 at her home.Born September 15, 1943, she was the daughter of the late James Glenn Hostetler and Clara M. (Eschman) Hostetler Van Meter. She was educated at Tuscarawas Valley High School and then spent her lifetime as a homemaker. Beverly always enjoyed cheering on the Ohio sports teams, completing crossword puzzles, and spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.She is survived by her three daughters, Tonya (husband, Larry) Daley of Dover, Dawn Tufford of North Canton, and Rhonda (fiancé, John Morris) Hostetler of Dundee; grandchildren, Christi and Michelle Hostetler both of New Philadelphia, A.J. (Andrew) Hostetler and Ridge Hykes, both of Dundee, Stephanie Hostetler of New Philadelphia, and Samantha Mascotti of Stone Creek; great-grandchildren, Kyra and Jeremiah Bunton and Kylee Rogers; a sister, Patsy Porter of Strasburg; and brothers, Jeff Van Meter of Mineral City and John Van Meter of Bolivar. Numerous nieces and nephews complete the family.In addition to her parents, Beverly was preceded in death by her sister, Marilyn Gump.A public graveside service will be held at Ridgecrest Memory Gardens in Dover on Thursday morning, July 10, 2008 at 11 a.m. The family requests donations be made to the Beverly Hostetler Memorial Fund, C/O Dover/Phila Federal Credit Union, 119 Fillmore Ave., Dover, Ohio 44622.
