Beverly Eileen Brenneman, age 77, of Newcomerstown, passed away peacefully early Easter Sunday afternoon, March 31, 2013, in New Dawn Retirement Center at Dover.
Born in her family home at Coshocton County, May 18, 1935, she was a daughter of the late Thomas William and Mary Elizabeth Hill Carr.
On March 22, 1968, she wed Walter M. Brenneman, and have gone on to celebrate 45 anniversaries together.
Survivors, in addition to her husband who resides at Newcomerstown, are her children; Sean (Jovan) Brenneman of Grove City, O., Beth (Dale) Norman, Brenda (Joe) McCall, both of Newcomerstown, Keith Casteel of Minerva, and Kevin Casteel of Newcomerstown.
She’ll be sadly missed by her 12 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.
Two brothers, Don (Margorie) Carr of Newcomerstown and Robert (Janet) Carr of Uhrichsville, and two brothers-in-law, Rolland Snell of Newcomerstown and Kenny (Robin) Brenneman of Hilliard, O., and many nieces and nephews complete the family.
In addition to her parents, Beverly is preceded in death by a son, Walter Daniel Brenneman, a grandson, Chris Casteel, a brother, Steven Carr and sisters, Barbra Snell and Carol Lucas. Her father and mother-in-law, Al and Margaretta Stamn Brenneman are also deceased.
She will be remembered by her family and friends for her delight in going shopping, playing bingo, playing cards, cooking and going to Mountaineer Casino.
Cremation is planned without public visitation or service. Her family will gather in West Lawn Cemetery at Newcomerstown for a private committal service.
