Beverly Barker

Beverly Sue Barker, 72, of Uhrichsville, died Wednesday, September 14, 2016 in Community Hospice House at New Philadelphia.

A daughter of the late Milo Clyde and Mary Catherine (May) Bean, Beverly was born March 24, 1944 at Dennison, Ohio.

She is survived by her husband of 52 years, Harry Barker; her daughters, Violet Vickers of Uhrichsville and Mary Barker of the home; her son, Harry Barker and his wife, Carla of New Philadelphia; her grandchildren, Cheyanna, whom Beverly raised, and her husband, Chad, Tayla, Callee, Jazalyann, Aaron, Adam and Nicholas; a great granddaughter, Kaleah and a great grandson, Adain; her sister, Linda and her husband, Andy and many nieces, nephews and friends.

Beverly was preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Bonnie Vickers; two sisters, Patty and Mary Alice; a brother, Tommy Bean; a great grandson, Collin; her first husband, Kenny Vickers and a faithful companion, her dog, Carma Jo.

Visitation will be held on Friday, September 16, 2016 from 4 to 7 p.m. in the Linn-Hert-Geib Funeral Home & Crematory at New Philadelphia.  A funeral service celebrating Beverly’s life will be held on Saturday, September 17, 2016 at 2 p.m. in the funeral home with Pastor Brian Flood officiating.  Burial will follow in Peoli Cemetery.
