Betty Stewart Heyser

Betty Stewart Heyser, 80, a native of New Philadelphia, died Wednesday afternoon, November 13, 2002 at the Colonial Manor Nursing Home in Loudonville following years of declining health. She was born November 14, 1921 to the late Robert and Lula Hollyoak Stewart. Betty worked as a public health nurse in Pittsburgh for Allegheny County. After retiring, she moved to Sanibel, FL where she lived until returning to Ohio in 1992. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Heyser, in 1965, an infant son, and her brother, Robert D. Stewart in 2000. Betty is survived by her nephew, Robert C. (Shirley) Stewart, great-nephew, Robert “Bumper” Stewart, all of Loudonville and a great niece, Rebecca (Bryan) Shakley of West Salem. There will be no calling hours and private services with burial alongside her husband will take place at East Avenue Cemetery.
