Betty Limbacher, 89, of Dover, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, February 12, 2025 in The Inn at Northwood Village at Dover, following a period of declining health.
Born on June 16, 1935 at Bonesteel, South Dakota, she was the daughter of the late Clark and Emma (Sejnetta) Gingery.
Betty was a member of Broadway Global Methodist Church at New Philadelphia and had retired from Miller Studio at New Philadelphia where she had worked in the shipping department. In her spare time, Betty, along with her son Steven, loved shopping for and repairing antiques and sports memorabilia.
She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Randy and Carol Limbacher of Houston, Texas, a sister that she helped raise from childhood, Maragret “Maggie” (Jake) McDonald and a sister, Darlene Karlen Weber, both of Plain City; two grandsons and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Betty was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Limbacher; her son, Steve Limbacher; three brothers, Charles Gingery, Robert Gingery, and Larry Gingery and her sister, Catherine Pejsa.
In keeping with her wishes, a private family service will be held in the Geib Funeral Center at Dover and entombment will be in the mausoleum at East Avenue Cemetery at New Philadelphia.
