Betty G. Lute, 70, of Midvale, died Thursday, April 24, 2003 at her home, following an extended illness.Born in Buffalo, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Arthur H. and Ethel G. Dawson Van Dyke and was a homemaker and a member of the New Philadelphia V.F.W. Auxiliary. Betty had a beautiful spirit that positively glowed and warmed the hearts of everyone she smiled at. She spent her life raising her family with love and those who knew her, will remember the kind-hearted woman that she was.Surviving are her husband of fifty-four years, Earl F. Lute of the residence; three sons, Gary (Gloria) Lute of Goshen, Howard (Julie) Lute of Roswell and Tom (Belinda) Lute of Tuscarawas; three daughters, Earlene (Greg) Robinson of Uhrichsville, Lola Lute of the residence and Vicki (Dale) Shonk of Midvale; one brother, one sister, fifteen grandchildren and three great grandchildren. A son, Richard Lute and a brother are also deceased.In keeping with her wishes, her body is to be cremated and a graveside service is to be held Wednesday, April 30, 2003 at 4 PM at the Sharon Moravian Church Cemetery in Tuscarawas, with Pastor Don Snow officiating. The Linn-Hert-Geib Funeral Home in New Philadelphia is in charge of arrangements.
