Bernice R. Robeson

Bernice R. Robeson, 100, of New Philadelphia, died Friday, June 1, 2007, at the Hennis Care Center, in Dover.A daughter of the late Clarence G. and Sarah B. Paul Robeson, Bernice was born October 29, 1906, in Galeton, Pennsylvania. She was a loyal Seventh Day Adventist with a deep religious faith.She retired from the former LaDel Manufacturing Company of New Philadelphia, following 25 years of service. Bernice was fond of the many dogs she owned over the years, she enjoyed outings and loved chocolate.Bernice will be greeted in heaven by her parents, her brothers, Ernest, Walter, and Clyde Robeson and a sister Lucille Edwards.She is survived by loving nieces and nephews, Marjorie and Fred Wolbert, Janet and Don Peters, Clair and Bev Edwards, Jerry Edwards, Bev and Fred Turner, Ruth Edwards, Maxine Edwards, Janice Cory and numerous great nieces and nephews.Visitation will be held Monday, June 4, 2007, from 12:00p.m. until 2:00p.m. in the chapel of the Linn-Hert-Geib Funeral Home & Crematory, in New Philadelphia, where Pastor William R. Jackson will conduct services at 2:00pm. Burial will follow the service in East Avenue Cemetery.
