Barbara Kay Tedrow-Laisure

Barbara Kay Tedrow-Laisure, age 77, of Zoarville, died Thursday, February 27, 2025, while in Cleveland Clinic Union Hospital at Dover.  

Born in Twin City Hospital at Dennison, on November 5, 1947, Barb a daughter of the late Roy H. and June E. Murphy Tedrow. 

Barbara was a graduate of the former Port Washington School and on October 19 1968, married Frank Laisure. Together the couple enjoyed traveling having made numerous trips to Las Vegas and the western states, weekend getaways to West Virginia and a special trip to Hawaii. 

For nearly 20 years, Barb worked at Union Hospital at Dover as a nursing assistant. She was a member of St. Paul’s Community Church at Mineral City and enjoyed cleaning her house, playing games on her tablet, and caring for her pets. 

In addition to her husband of 56 years, Barb is survived by a brother, Thomas (Rhonda) Tedrow of Dennison. 

In addition to her mother and father, Barb was preceded in death by a brother, Lorin Tedrow. 

A celebration of Barb’s life will be held on Saturday, March, 8 2025, at 11 AM, in the St. Paul’s Community Church at Mineral City. A meal and fellowship will follow in the church’s social hall.
