Barbara Jo Bosetti, age 61, of New Philadelphia, fell asleep in Christ on Tuesday, August 1, 2017 surrounded by her family.
Born in Union Hospital at Dover, on October 3, 1955, Barb was a daughter of the late Keith and Lucille Bernhardt Ayers.
She was a 1974 graduate of New Philadelphia High School. Barb devoted 25 years as an employee of the Tuscarawas County Clerk of Courts Office.
Barb’s every step was taken with God: from her baptism and upbringing at Emmanuel Lutheran Church in New Philadelphia to her marriage and conversion at Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
Barb lived her life to bring joy to those around her. Whether it was camping at Atwood Lake, vacationing with friends, or being around her family, having fun was a part of Barb’s dynamic personality. In her free time, she enjoyed the flower gardens around her home and knitting.
Barb is survived by her husband of 38 years, Michael Bosetti; her daughter, Amanda (Jeff) Burdette of Dover; her son, Thad Bosetti of Denver, Colorado and her grandchildren, John Mohn, IV, Mikayla Mohn, Jakob Burdette, and Jaxon Burdette.
Barb will be deeply missed by her sister, Mary Amick of Michigan; her brother, Kevin (Amy) Ayers of New Philadelphia; her sister in law, Rose (Ronnie) Myers; brothers-in-law, Tim Bosetti, Steve Bosetti all of Uhrichsville and Joe Bosetti of Connecticut as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
A memorial visitation will be held on Monday, August 7, 2017 from 4-7 PM in the Linn-Hert-Geib Funeral Home & Crematory at New Philadelphia where a Wake will begin at 7 PM. Father Tyron Tomson will offer a Mass of Christian Burial on Tuesday, August 8, 2017 at 10:30 AM in Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Burial will follow in St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery at Dennison. Following the service, all are invited to join the family for a reception in the Geib Family Center at New Philadelphia.
