Barbara Jean Manack

Barbara Jean Manack, 66, of Uhrichsville, died Friday evening, January 19, 2007 in Union Hospital at Dover.Born in Newport, Ohio on September 26, 1940, she was a daughter of the late Aigid Louis and Katherine Mary (Tylka) Basiletti. She was a 1958 graduate of St. Joseph High School. After marrying the late Mike Cihon, she spent much of her time raising her children. Her hobbies included camping, crocheting, playing Bingo and cards, and spending time with her family, including her grandchildren and her dog, Angel.She is survived by her husband of 12 years, Bruce Manack; her daughter, Paula (Marvin) Edwards of Sherrodsville; two sons, Michael and Max Cihon, both of New Philadelphia; grandchildren, Brittany and Nathan Warfield and Nathaniel Edwards; her mother-in-law, Opal Manack; two brothers-in-law, Mike (Elaine) Manack and Joe (Anna) Manack, both of Canton; sisters-in-law, Janet Basiletti of New Philadelphia and Brenda Shaftner of Canton; two step-daughters and one step-son; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.In addition to her first husband, Barbara was preceded in death by one brother, Paul Basiletti and her paternal grandparents, Max and Bertha Basiletti and her maternal grandparents, Vincent Sr. and Sophia Tylka.Visitation will be held in the Linn-Hert-Geib Funeral Home & Crematory at New Philadelphia on Monday from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. with a funeral immediately following at 10:30 a.m. with Rev.
