As a young couple, Barbara and Phil lived in the Chicago area prior to relocating to Cuyahoga Falls and in 1994, moved to the Tuscarawas Valley. While in Cuyahoga Falls, Barbara enjoyed her work as the President of the Women’s Club; however, family was always her first and foremost priority.
She enjoyed being a homemaker and caregiver to those she loved and as her children grew, she enjoyed being a part of the lives of her grandchildren. Other hobbies and interests included bird watching and finding and researching collectible items.
Additionally, Barbara and Phil shared in a great deal of time together as members of The First United Methodist Church at New Philadelphia and Kiwanis International, whose focus is on the needs and life improvement of children.
Survivors include two children, a son, Steven Landreth of the Youngstown area; a daughter, Laura L. (Craig) Williams of Dover; and three grandchildren, Cassandra (Robert) Bast, Scott Williams and David Williams.
In addition to her parents and husband, Barbara was preceded in death by her brother Edwal Donkin.
