Barbara F. Goudy

Barbara F. Goudy, age 84, of Uhrichsville, died Wednesday, July 14, 2010, in Beacon Pointe Rehabilitation Center following a period of declining health.One of eight children born to the late Warren L. Heck and Olive Frazier Heck-Moran, Barbara was born at Gnadenhutten on January 7, 1926.For a number of years, Barbara was employed by the former Puritan Laundry Company and the Airport Restaurant located at New Philadelphia.Barbara is survived by a sister, Grace E. Scopel of Wainright, a sister-in-law, Kate Heck of Dover and numerous nieces and nephews.In addition to her parents, Barbara was preceded in death by six brothers and sisters.In keeping with her wishes, there will be no public visitation or services. Cremation care will be conducted through Geib’s Tuscarawas Valley Crematory at Dover.Those wishing to do so may send the family personal condolences by signing the online guest registry located on the funeral home’s website.
