Arthur L. Mushrush

Arthur L. “Pete” Mushrush, 74, of New Philadelphia, died Tuesday, February 12, 2002, at Alterra Clare Bridge Cottage in New Philadelphia, following a brief illness.Born in New Philadelphia, he was the son of the late Arthur and Anna Davis Mushrush and was the former co-owner of New Phila Welding and Pipeline Contractors in New Philadelphia. He was a U.S. Navy veteran, a member of the Emmanuel Lutheran Church in New Philadelphia, a life member of the Tuscarawas V.F.W. and a friend of Bill W. and Dr. Bob. Pete loved golfing and will be greatly missed by his golfing buddies.Surviving is his wife, the former Evelyn V. Baker, whom he married June 9, 1951; two daughters and their husbands, Cindy Mushrush and Randy Walters and Judy Mushrush and Steve McMillen all of Columbus; two sons, Larry A. Mushrush of New Philadelphia and Rich A. Mushrush of New Castle, Pennsylvania; one brother, Harry F. (Lucille) Mushrush of New Philadelphia and seven grandchildren, Maggie, Nathan, Ben, Peter, Philip, Melanie and Lauren.Funeral services will be held Saturday, February 16, 2002 at 10:30 AM at the Linn-Hert-Geib Funeral Home in New Philadelphia with Pastor Mike Walters officiating. In keeping with his wishes, his body is to be cremated following the service and a reception is to be held in the Geib Family Center. Visitation will be held Friday, February 15, 2002 from 5 to 8 PM in the funeral home.
